This role will build and lead a team of digital advertising operations and measurement professionals. The Associate Director will oversee all functions of Measurement Operations including campaign implementation, trafficking, optimization, and issue resolution, as well as driving cross-platform, cross-device tagging strategies in partnership with Analytics and Media teams. This person is expected to be passionate about the field and lead as an expert in ad trafficking, measurement tools and technologies. Responsibilities
Assist team lead with managing all measurement operations and team across an account Responsible for staying abreast of emerging tools and technology and ensuring agency and clients are using the right solutions Driving POVs across the parent organization on best practices in the evolving space Prioritize work and apply appropriate resource allocation based on client scope Work inter-departmentally to deliver best-in-class campaign trafficking and measurement to clients Develop and implement robust QA systems and tooling for monitoring and troubleshooting Establish best practices and plan, develop, and implement processes for measurement operations Build, train and motivate team and ensure team has ongoing professional development Support new business efforts as needed Review complex media programs, tagging and data sets and understand how to identify and track data needed for analytics Qualifications
B.A. or B.S. in Marketing, Advertising or related field highly preferred 5+ years of experience in ad operations 2+ years of management experience Demonstrated ability to work with people at all levels: coach and develop junior team members; support senior team members A strong background in various technologies and the proven ability to teach and support others in their use Examples of tools and applications specific to each side of the practice Knowledge of the working relationships with second- and third-party vendors Skills in a range of ad servers, expertise required in Google Campaign Manager Working knowledge of Tag Management Systems Educated in VVF vendors (viewability, verification, and fraud prevention) Expertise with site tagging (retargeting and conversion tags) and rich media platforms & formats (FlashTalking, Innovid) Additional Information
