Overview We are seeking a Wealth Management Operations Specialist for our Wealth Management (“WM”) department. This position will engage with most aspects of WM and is required to obtain a foundational understanding of our bank’s WM product and services to deliver holistic operational support to WM team.
Responsibilities
Perform monthly production reporting (fee income/expense)/GL Transfer
Responsible for Licensed Banker split commission calculation and payments
Perform representative change and account reassignments/client profile management
Process daily settlement wires/enter annuity purchase trades
Assist representatives with operational issues and/or urgent client inquiries and provide support on various inquiries
Occasionally obtain ad review approvals from both the broker dealer and EWB compliance department for all WM marketing initiatives
Maintain and update weekly/monthly spreadsheets for various projects such as Referral Reports, New accounts, Production tracking, FC schedule, licensing status, etc.
Facilitate the process of FC/LBE registration and licensing renewals
Communicate with broker/dealer on various service inquiries
Manage day‑today incoming call from toll‑free line and delegate to corresponding FC to ensure the inquiries are handled in accordance with policy
Ability to attend event/offsite meeting in occasional basis
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economic or related field, or equivalent experience
4+ years’ experience in operations support for Wealth Management department
Life insurance and combination license Series 6 or Series 7 and Series 63/65/66
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, and able to prioritize work with deadlines
Knowledge of SmartWorks System a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Compensation The base pay range for this position is USD $20.00/Hr. - USD $35.00/Hr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
