YMCA of Greater Richmond
The Greater Richmond YMCA is currently seeking a part time positive role model to build relationships, plan, and coordinate our Active Older Adults Program at multiple branches! The Aging Strong Coordinator will develop, plan and carry out activities for senior adults in the areas of wellness and social events, including activities in the Y's community based senior fitness program, The Aging Strong Program. This part time position starts at $17.00 per hour, up to 10 hours per week.
The Active Adult Regional Coordinator role and responsibilities Work no more than 10 hours a week.
Direct service at multiple branches and offsites within region.
Direct service is mainly on weekdays, midday with occasion weekend shifts.
Hold nationally recognized or YMCA Group Exercise certification, with teaching experience preferred.
Support staff with technology and administrative needs.
Proficient with various technologies including Microsoft Suite, Daxko's Operations and GroupEX, time reporting, and e-Learning.
Proficient in event planning, promotion, organizing, and implementing.
Can identify program gaps and opportunities as well as audit staff and programs.
