Our Opportunity We are looking for a seasonal Material Handler for our Marianna, AR retail location. Our culture fosters a connected work environment, employee engagement, and career development.

Summary/Objective Performs tasks essential to retail warehouse operations. Coordinates inbound/outbound deliveries, packs and loads products using a forklift, cleans and organizes storage areas, assists with cycle counts, and maintains a safe, clean work area.

Essential Functions

Performs regular warehouse duties, including product storage, product staging and bagging

Drives a forklift to transport inbound products for storage and outbound products for delivery

Organizes products in accordance with local procedures

Follows logical sequence of loading and unloading trucks and/or rail cars and hand palletizing finished product

Maintains a quality and professional image with customers and is responsive to their needs

Pulls orders in accordance with purchase order requests

Loads/unloads pallets (e.g., pulling and placing bags on pallets, operating bag machinery)

Cleans warehouse and site to ensure a welcoming environment, as well as safe, sanitary working conditions

Ensures equipment is in good, working condition; reports any discrepancies to site leadership; follows all safety regulations and guidelines

Assists other plant/warehouse workers in various physical duties necessary in running an agricultural location

Material Handler, Fertilizer Plant equipment maintenance and other associated duties

Required Qualifications

Specific position/site qualifications and progression may apply, consult with Human Resources

High School graduate or GED; may be offset by experience

Experience working in a warehouse environment (e.g., product storage, product staging, etc.) preferred

Experience driving a forklift (e.g., performing basic operations such as driving forwards, driving backwards, lifting, and lowering boom, maneuvering in tight areas without damaging products, etc.) preferred

Experience working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets (e.g., pulling and placing pallets on/off vertical product racking systems and trucks, maximizing storage by stacking products vertically, etc.)

Must possess a valid driver’s license; must be able to meet a Motor Vehicle Review in accordance with Company policy

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Self‑reliant and able to accurately work under limited supervision

Ability to ensure a safe working environment while performing assigned tasks

Customer focused and able to work in a collaborative team

Ability to be flexible in work performed and schedule

Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions, and possess basic mathematical skills (preferred)

Trained or be able to operate lift truck if required

Self‑motivated and able to perform cleanup around the work area

Ability to communicate and work effectively with team members and customers

Applicants must also be able to demonstrate the following competencies: acts with integrity in products, processes, and relationships; deliver results efficiently & effectively; embraces role as an individual contributor to the warehouse team

Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a warehouse or outdoor agricultural setting. Employee will regularly encounter extreme temperatures, adverse weather, dust, loud noises, and a hazardous agricultural and/or industrial environment that requires regular use of PPE.

Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Needs to stay in good physical condition to regularly lift more than 50 pounds, climb ladders, perform preventive maintenance activities, and assist other plant/warehouse workers in various physical duties necessary in running an agricultural location. Employee will regularly be required to walk, stand, lift, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, handle, feel and grasp. Workload is frequently medium to heavy.

Travel Travel outside of the assigned area is very rare.
