Shift Relief Operator

City of Industry, CA . Key Responsibilities As a key member of our team, you will contribute to driving our mission forward. Core responsibilities include: Ensure all paperwork is filled out clearly, legibly, and accurately with all required information Disassemble, set up, monitor, operate, changeover and clean applicable equipment; provide quality inspections including OQI, weight checks, and adherence to product specs Maintain clean and inspection standards in a timely manner Maintain lubrication logs and ensure lubrication standards are up to date Maintain working knowledge of value stream equipment; troubleshoot and perform minor repairs using basic tools Complete preventive maintenance (PMs); assist in diagnostics, repairs and rebuilds; coordinate with maintenance on non-routine repairs Monitor equipment for malfunctions; repair minor problems and communicate issues to production to prevent disruption Communicate with supervisors and maintenance regarding recurring problems and needs for repair Participate in PMs and apply root-cause thinking to ensure sustainable corrective actions Maintain communication with other departments and notify them of problems or concerns Contribute to continuous improvement by participating in SOPs, work instructions, PM standards, One Point Lessons, and improvement events Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and 5S to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area Participate in Pillar activities (Quality, Focused Improvement, Safety, etc.) including observations, inspections, and recommendations Work toward line efficiency goals Assist, train, and coach employees Support plant production needs and priorities to achieve goals Attend and participate in team meetings and programs Comply with all policies and procedures Other duties as assigned Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those required to perform the essential functions.
