Role description Arcadis is seeking a Principal Hydrogeologist and self‑motivated seller‑doer for a full‑time position to support our Resilience Environment team at our office in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. This position will primarily support technical projects and development and implementation of remote monitoring at project sites. It will include projects across many sectors, commercial and industrial projects, including those executed under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) requirements. Some travel to project sites will be required to meet clients and support field staff with project implementation.

Arcadis offers a flexible working environment and follows a hybrid work structure. A successful candidate can expect to work remotely and from the office based on demands of project and client teams. You will work with a dynamic team to help shape Arcadis' growing impact across multiple regions and business sectors.

Role accountabilities The successful candidate will support Arcadis Services leads as a subject‑matter expert in the implementation of remote environmental monitoring. You will be responsible for developing innovative technical solutions and stewarding staff in implementation. You will also support the growth of the business by working in conjunction with market sector leaders and account leaders to further position Arcadis on upcoming programs and projects.

Other key responsibilities include:

Collaboratively developing scope and cost proposals for projects and task orders; contribute to the strategic growth, planning, and support of various key market initiatives throughout the region.

Supporting the development of junior and mid‑level staff.

Supporting Arcadis technical experts in areas of hydrologic modeling and development of conceptual site models.

This role will primarily be office based; however, as needed, you will need to conduct field assignments to collaborate and train field staff in instrumentation installation. This role will require the ability to travel up to 25 %.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Geology or closely related field.

15+ years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

PG license in good standing.

Arcadis offers benefits for full‑time and part‑time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $122,478‑$208,212. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
