STEM Teacher – Snapology
(Part‑time, 6–30 hours per week) Compensation:
$40.00 per hour Responsibilities
Lead groups of up to 24 students through curriculum‑guided activities Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment Manage student behavior by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures Maintain discipline in accordance with Snapology rules and disciplinary systems Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Adequately prepare for each program by reading curriculum, watching training videos and/or participating in face‑to‑face training sessions Handle inquiries from parents regarding Snapology programs Encourage students and parents to enroll students in future Snapology programs Participate in periodic Snapology training and staff meetings, as required Qualifications
Current criminal and child clearances 2 or more years of experience working with children in a classroom or camp environment Education degree or teaching experience preferred; teachers and students pursuing a degree in education are also considered Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others Effective oral and written communication skills Reliability and punctuality for regular attendance Programs
Weekday after‑school and/or evening classes Weekend workshops and/or birthday parties Summer camps Special events, holiday and break workshops Training & Requirements
Training is provided. Requirements include a positive attitude, flexible work schedule, current criminal and child clearances, and experience with children. Apply with Indeed or
