Associate in Research (Finance) The ID Program associate in research under general supervision, provides leadership and guidance for a variety of clinical, research, and support services at the Ybor Youth Clinic and as part of the Pediatric HIV Program. This position works with grant, research, and program leadership to ensure that deliverables are met, program initiatives are successful, and all activities meet extensive state and federal funding requirements and required reporting to ensure continued funding.

The ID Program associate in research provides programmatic support to program staff, works in collaboration with a wide variety of internal and external constituents, including (but not limited to) team members, physicians, and staff throughout the USF Health continuum of care, patients, families, community services, and other health care systems. They serve as an active member on relevant program, department, community and other committees across the care continuum.

Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and three years of related professional experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and five years of related professional experience.

Teaching

Oversee College of Public Health internship program at the YYC. Pursue opportunities for additional collaborations and teaching opportunities with the COPH. Work with learners from other disciplines as appropriate and needed. Provide oversight for outreach and clinic activities involving USF students.

Research

Work with YYC Executive Director to expand Quality Improvement program with dissemination of lessons learned.

Assist in grant writing and obtaining, planning, managing behavioral/clinical research initiatives at the YYC. Develop action plans related to clinic grants and research projects and monitor data collection and management activities.

Prepare interim and final reports for projects in conjunction with financial and leadership teams.

Administrative Duties: Grant & Fiscal Management

Develop systems and collaborations that enhance and support the work of the YYC and ID program.

Work with the leadership team to ensure continual readiness for state and federal site visits.

Monitor and manage grant related program activities and outcomes.

Prepare specific program budgets, monitor expenditures and make recommendations for budget modifications or additional funds.

Participate in the preparation of and development of local, state and federal grant funding applications and associated budgets.

Collaborate with leadership to develop long-term strategic goals, key performance indicators and action plans.

Support ID Division processes that ensure compliance with Ryan White eligibility requirements.
