Position Overview Mark III Construction is seeking a Recruiter & Onboarding Coordinator to support our continued growth by managing full‑cycle recruiting and delivering a high‑quality onboarding experience for new hires. This role plays a critical part in attracting talent and ensuring a smooth transition from candidate to employee.
Who we are Mark III is a full‑service construction company with three unique and complementary businesses – M3 MEP, M3 Service, and M3 Components. From concept to maintenance, Mark III specializes in healthcare, higher education, industrial, life science, and technology projects.
We take a big picture approach to the construction process by self‑performing electrical, HVAC, plumbing, process piping, prefabrication, and MEP design. Instead of multiple consultants and countless subcontractors, our customers work with just one company to eliminate profit layers, scope gaps, and complexity of schedules.
Headquartered in Sacramento, CA, our company’s footprint extends across California and into Nevada. Our cutting‑edge manufacturing facility acts as a central hub for both states, providing solutions for five trades: HVAC, mechanical piping, plumbing, electrical, and metal‑stud framing.

Key Responsibilities Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
Manage full‑cycle recruiting for field, project, and corporate positions
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs
Draft and manage job postings
Source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and networking
Conduct phone screenings and coordinate interviews
Maintain candidate communication and recruiting metrics
Onboarding & New Hire Coordination
Coordinate end‑to‑end onboarding process
Prepare offer letters and onboarding documents
Ensure completion of pre‑employment requirements
Facilitate new hire orientation
Partner with HR, Safety, IT, and Payroll
Maintain accurate employee records
Compliance & Process Improvement
Ensure compliance with employment regulations
Maintain confidentiality of records
Improve recruiting and onboarding workflows
Support audits and HR projects
Qualifications
2–5 years of recruiting or HR coordination experience
Construction or skilled trades recruiting preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Experience with ATS/HRIS and Microsoft Office
Position Requirements This office‑based role requires prolonged periods of sitting, working at a computer, and occasional standing or walking. The employee must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to
25 pounds
as needed.
