Work Schedule:
2nd Shift, Sunday Thursday but may work other shifts through training to completion of shift and subject to change based on business needs

Base salary, depending on experience plus bonus potential based on KPIs!!
Job Summary: The Operations Manager Trainee role is a position designed to prepare you for a management career within Core-Mark's organization. As a manager trainee, you'll gain hands‑on experience leading personnel to include recruiting, safety and compliance, food safety measures, training, and other projects in a friendly and supportive learning environment. Our trainees assist operations management across Warehouse, Transportation, and Facilities. The Operations Manager Trainee will assist in managing to an established operations budget and plans for future growth and assisting in the implementation of changes as needed to accommodate business needs. Functions as a team member within the department and organization as required and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Responsible for learning OSHA safety programs and systems; operations business processes, systems & tools; and performance management.
Collaborates with all frontline managers to learn the day‑to‑day business operations (i.e., Warehouse Manager, Transportation Manager, Inventory Manager, District Sales Managers)
Works with safety to continue to create a safety conscious culture
Completes the assigned Perform curriculum and all other assigned trainings
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
4 years of warehouse or related experience.
4 years experience in a leadership role
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is Supply Chain, Business or related field is preferred.
1-2 years of leadership experience in the warehouse, transportation, or distribution field is preferred.
Experience in foodservice, wholesale, retail or convenience is highly desired.
OSHA Forklift operator certificate.
