This position involves leading teams in hardware and network diagnostics followed by physical repair and includes participation in an on‑call rotation. Candidates should be willing to work independently and manage their teams effectively. Work prioritization, organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to react quickly are critical. In addition to strong knowledge in Data Centers, hardware and network repair, candidates will create documentation, innovate solutions, participate in site‑level project work, and fix complex problems within the Data Center Space. This team operates 24/7 and the role follows a night‑shift schedule that may be adjusted as operational demands change.
Key Job Responsibilities
Prioritize and assign trouble tickets to data center technicians and operators
Manage the performance of a diverse team of data center operation professionals across different locations
Develop career paths and update internal tools
Recruit and train data technicians to ensure appropriate staffing levels
Ensure effective management of day‑to‑day data center operations, including queue management, 24/7 shift arrangement, and hardware logistics
Serve as subject‑matter expert across all aspects of data center operations
Ensure all operational KPIs and metrics are measured and met
Inspire and guide improvement in team processes, technology innovation, and automation
Manage large‑scale events (outages) and act as the call leader
Improve workflows and throughput for data center operations
Recommend, document, and oversee policies and procedures to meet industry best practices and required SLAs
Maintain the on‑call schedule, coordinating absences and vacations
Passion for quality and quantity of services provided, continuously improving Customer Experience

Basic Qualifications
2+ years of data center engineering or operations experience
2+ years of experience managing people in a technical environment
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of computer hardware experience, including troubleshooting and repairing
Experience in technical writing in a relevant field
Certifications in a relevant field (CCENT, Network+, CCNA)
Behavioral interviewing and hiring experience
Ability to work on a flexible schedule including days, nights, and/or weekends
Location: USA, MS, Canton – Salary range: $70,700.00 – $123,600.00 USD annually
