ABOUT THE ROLE This role is a

Permanent

position on a

9-day fortnight , at our Boddington Bauxite Mine.

Note that accommodation is not provided on site, you will be required to drive in, drive out to site on a daily basis. A bus service runs from Mandurah and Perth. Employees ideally live within an hour’s drive of Boddington.

As the

Engineer Senior Mechanical – Fixed Plant

you will be responsible for developing, deploying and continuously improving mechanical maintenance work management for the Worsley Alumina Refinery, ensuring safe, effective plans that meet statutory requirements and are enabled through SAP and reliability expertise.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

Monitoring reliability performance of the fixed plant infrastructure and responding to deviation

Conducting RCA’s into equipment failures and implementing actions to prevent recurrence

Determining and implementing appropriate maintenance strategies for fixed plant equipment

Working with Maintenance and Operations in response to breakdowns and other emergent issuesDeveloping Asset Management Plans for key infrastructure.

Initiating capital replacements when equipment reaches end-of-life and initiating capital improvements

Management of statutory plant in accordance with relevant regulations & standards.

Working collaboratively with Operations, Maintenance, Planning & Engineering functions to achieve business objectives

ABOUT YOU You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

At least 10 years’ experience working in a technical role in the resources sector.

Experience in the reliability and maintenance of Crushing and Conveying systems.

Structured problem‑solving on complex plant reliability challenges; clear, thoughtful communication.

Using SAP & performance data to guide decisions, budgets and continuous improvement.

Influencing diverse teams, mentoring peers and building collaborative networks across Operations.

Thriving in complex environments; balancing compliance, risk and productivity with sound judgement.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION ARE

Degree in Mechanical Engineering
