Overview To improve the reliability, availability, and maintainability of equipment and plant assets by utilizing data gathered from our maintenance assets which include personnel, work orders, work histories, and predictive technologies to identify and mitigate risks, reduce downtime, and optimize asset performance.
Qualifications Education, Certifications, and Experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical or industrial; equivalent experience accepted)
2-7 years' experience in maintenance engineering, asset management, reliability, or a similar field
Preferred
CMRP, CMRT, CRE or similar certification
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong Communication Skills
Data-driven decision making
Problem solving and troubleshooting
Cross-functional leadership
Some project management
CMMS/EAM system familiarity (E-maint, SAP, Maximo, etc.)
Strong analytical skills with failure analysis
Familiarity with the use of predictive technologies (Vibration, temperature, ultrasonic, oil sampling, thermography, motor circuit analysis, motion amplification, etc.)
Strong knowledge of reliability methodologies (RCM, PDM, PMO, FMECA, RCFA, FRACAS, etc.)
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements WORKING CONDITIONS: This position may perform activities in an environment that contains hazardous elements and requires safety awareness and adherence to all safety policies and guidelines. Work must be performed in a safe manner for personal protection and for the protection of other team members. All safety procedures, procedures described in SOPs, BPRs, and support the compliance of applicable ISO standards in all functional areas must be followed, enforced, and strictly complied with.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Position requires the ability to stand for a minimum of 3-6 hours per day; sit, walk, bend over and reach above head at a minimum of 2 hours per day; minimal lifting or carrying of 50 pounds occasionally.
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain asset criticality
Develop and lead the completion of FMECA's based on asset criticality to determine asset management strategies
Develop and implement a work order priority system based in tandem with asset criticality
Collaborate with maintenance team to implement reliability-based PM, PdM, and Corrective Maintenance Strategies
Develop and report on Maintenance KPI's such as MTTR, MTBF, OEE, Backlog, and Costs
Monitor and report on Asset Health through CMMS, and administration of our predictive technology platforms
Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis's and correction action planning
In collaboration with Planner and Associate Manager to develop an effective failure mode library
Collaborate with Maintenance, Projects, and Engineering in the upkeep of our equipment replacement plan
Provide support and resources for the continued education of our maintenance team in Reliability Best Practices
Recommend design changes, upgrades, and equipment replacements based on data and asset criticality
Salary Range 87,000-110,000
