You Have:

2+ years of experience with front-end development writing applications deployed in an enterprise-level production environment

Experience with React, TypeScript, HTML, or CSS

Experience integrating REST APIs into single-page applications

Experience in working with common build and development tools, including Npm, Webpack, Rollup, or Vite

Experience with generative AI tools, such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Claude Code for assisted development

Knowledge of global state management libraries or patterns, including Redux or Zustand

Knowledge of performance optimization techniques such as code splitting and lazy loading

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

Nice If You Have:

Experience with leading a team of front-end developers

Experience with leveraging CI / CD tools, including Jenkins and SonarQube

Experience with developing in AWS cloud

Experience with UX and design processes

Knowledge of object-oriented design principles

Knowledge of back-end development

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This is an opportunity to meet challenges in public health by collaborating with a development team to build web-based analytic tools and components with user-centric design. You’ll work with UI / UX designers and back-end developers to create a seamless user experience using React, REST APIs, and other technologies. You’ll work with the development team to ensure accessibility for all users by developing a front end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. With mentoring, positive code reviews, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.
