Sofidel, a leading global manufacturer of tissue paper for hygienic and domestic use, is seeking an HR Assistant to join our team in the Las Vegas, NV office. This is an entry levelrole that will provide support in various HR functions.
Job Responsibilities
Provide support for full-cycle recruiting for the local manufacturing facility.
Assist in phone screening, and onboarding qualified candidates for open positions.
Collaborate with temp agencies and technical colleges to participate in career/job fairs and recruitment events.
Assist in coordinating schedules and contacting employees for orientation and onboarding programs.
Follow-up with applicants to ensure ready for hire and orientation.
General HR and administrative duties.
Front Desk duties & support to set up quarterly employee events.
Train to be able to execute on SAP tasks
Managing uniform orders & distribution and other vendor payments
Support in maintaining employee personnel documents, benefit records, and required legal documents.
Job Requirements
Regular & reliable onsite attendance is an essential function of this role.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or relevant field is preferred. This is a full time role but a new graduate will be considered.
Absolutely must be able to maintain department confidentiality and handling of sensitive information or documents.
Previous experience in HR or related administrative roles is preferred.
Familiarity with HRIS, ATS, sourcing, and recruitment tools is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast- paced environment.
Ability to build and maintain strong collaborative relationships.
