Job Duties and Responsibilities
Audit the daily guest ledger.
Handle all end‑of‑day accounting functions including posting daily room rates and room tax.
Ensure accuracy of all charges to guest folios.
Calculate sum of revenues from all accounts receivable (food, room, other departments).
Act as front‑desk clerk: check guests in/out, book reservations, resolve guest issues.
Create cash drops in accordance with proper cash‑handling procedures.
Organize the front‑desk area so that the AM front‑desk staff can prepare for their shift.
Monitor hotel security camera system.
Ensure the lobby is well‑maintained, properly lit, and music set at proper volume.
Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Complete any other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Minimum 1 year in Accounting or Night Auditor role.
Knowledge of PMS.
High School Diploma or GED.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to multi‑task.
Effective verbal and written communication.
Team player.
Ability to exceed guest expectations.
Basic accounting/math skills.
