Responsibilities
Provide nursing care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post‑operative gynecology patients
Work in both Labor & Delivery and Recovery units as required
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under the supervision of the Charge Nurse
Demonstrate clinical competency in general and unit‑specific nursing skills
Promote teamwork with physicians and interdisciplinary hospital staff
Ensure age‑appropriate, patient‑centered care
Manage and maintain supplies and equipment
Adhere to hospital policies including confidentiality, ADA, advance directives, and professional conduct
Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization
Requirements
Experience
Minimum 1 year of acute care experience as a Registered Nurse
Must have Labor & Delivery experience
Licenses and Certifications
Active RN license
BLS – required
ACLS – required
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – required
STABLE certification – required
COVID‑19 vaccination – required per state mandate
Education
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
