Alliance Steel, Inc. is seeking an Estimator to join our growing team. The Estimator will be responsible for interpreting drawings and specifications to price metal buildings accurately. This position requires strong attention to detail, planning, and ability to read drawings.
Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To:
Analyze drawings and specifications to price metal buildings correctly
Run MBS to design and price projects
Assist salesman with locating bidders list and bid results for projects
Get special pricing as required for panels, accessories, insulation, snowguards, etc.
Prepare quotations for metal building projects
Contact architect / engineer / contractors if questions arise and/or clarifications between drawings and specifications
Work with sales team to resolve any issues or change orders
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
PEMB experience preferred, but not required
Associates degree or higher, and/or 3 years’ experience in Estimating
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
