Our Behavioral Health Clinic:
We understand that everyone’s mental health is based on a unique set of circumstances, and everyone’s journey to healing may require different tactics or treatments. We can help patients uncover the root causes of mental health issues, and will customize treatment to the patients individual situation and needs. We provide counseling and treatment for a wide range of mental‑health issues, including:
ADHD
Autism
Anxiety
Bipolar disorder
Depression
Family or relationship issues
Stress‑related disorders
Substance abuse
Trauma‑related disorders
Some of the services and treatments we offer include:
Crisis intervention
Medication management
Psychiatric consultation and evaluation
Job Summary:
Performs non-invasive, routine, technical support services under the specific authorization and supervision of a licensed physician, podiatrist, physician assistant, nurse practitioner or nurse midwife.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required
Licenses/Certifications:
Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited institution: Required
Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) Health Care Provider certification: Required
Successful completion of audiometry and vision training or have a certificate from CHDP: Preferred
Facility Specific License/Certifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or California Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Medical Assistant - NCCT (NCCT) or Certified Medical Assistant- NHA (CMA-NHA) or Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Medical Assistant (MA) or American Medical Tech Board MA (MA-AMT): Required
Essential Functions:
Sets up exam rooms and checks in patients. Maintains a patient recall system, including continuity of care log for lab tests, referrals and transfers.
Obtains vital signs, and reports significant findings and pertinent patient observations to clinic physician.
Performs audiometry and vision testing.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
