Experienced Tax Preparer

Job Description Mi Casita Taxes & Services is seeking an

experienced, detail-oriented Tax Preparer

to join our team. The ideal candidate must be

fluent in Spanish and English , have strong tax knowledge, and be confident preparing a wide range of tax returns.

Minimum 3 years of experience preparing tax returns

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review individual and small business tax returns

Conduct thorough client interviews to ensure all income, deductions, and credits are accurately reported

Prepare returns with multiple tax schedules, including but not limited to:

Schedule A, C, D, E

Credits such as Child Tax Credit, Education Credits, and other common deductions

Review supporting documents for accuracy and completeness

Explain tax results clearly to clients in both English and Spanish

Ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws

Maintain strict client confidentiality
