Cloverdale Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to our residents. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated RN or LPN to join our healthcare team as an Infection Preventionist (RN or LPN).

As an Infection Preventionist (RN or LPN),

you will oversee staff and ensure residents receive optimal care. Your role will involve supervising, training, and guiding nursing staff on infection control measures.

Key Responsibilities of an Infection Preventionist (RN or LPN)

Plan, develop, implement, evaluate and oversee the infection prevention and control program in accordance with current regulations and guidelines governing skilled nursing facilities.

Ensure that the facility is in compliance with current CDC, OSHA and local regulations.

Monitor and ensure that all nursing services personnel follow established infection prevention and control practices and aseptic techniques when caring for residents.

Establish and maintain an infection surveillance program that is based on standardized definitions of infections.

Establish, implement and monitor data collection tools for process and outcome surveillance.

Requirements

Valid RN or LPN license in the state.

Supervisory experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Commitment to providing compassionate care to residents.
