Summary of Position
Operate CNC press brake machinery following machine setup sheets and work instruction files. Perform setup, testing, inspection, documentation, and maintain equipment compliance with ISO policies.
Essential Functions
Obtain and apply information from Work Instruction File.
Set up and program new Work Instruction File.
Set up and operate press brake and CNC machine following machine setup sheets.
Test and inspect equipment.
Test and inspect product to blueprint specifications.
Inspect product for compliance to requirements and sign‑off for first piece approval.
Utilize and complete required documentation.
Understand and follow policy procedures.
Prepare product for transfer to next work cell.
Shut down and store computer and equipment.
Document and record all work done in the work cell.
Train others to assure good quality parts are produced in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensure general maintenance and upkeep of equipment.
Comply with ISO policies and procedures.
Occasional Duties
Operate associated metal fabrication machinery: surface grinder, turret press, surface graining, edge deburring machines, assembly, cleaning, and packing.
Other duties as assigned.
After demonstrating competency, train others in similar roles.
Experience / Education
High School Graduate or equivalent.
Minimum one to three years’ experience in metal fabrication.
Skills
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Work with minimal supervision.
Team oriented.
Compensation Employee Type: Hourly Salary Minimum: $40,000 Salary Maximum: $50,000 Incentive: No
