Job Summary Outage Boilermaker – Palatka, FL. Journeyman level Boilermakers are needed for an outage in Palatka, FL. This assignment is well planned and supported by a top performing team, and your talent is a part of our success. Please ensure your contact information is current and accurate.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Maintenance or repair of all types of heat exchangers, baghouses, boilers, and steam generators
Tube bundle repair, removal, and replacement
Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings
Rigging and bull-rigging qualified
Possess the necessary knowledge and skills to perform all phases of power plant boilermaker-type maintenance / installation work
Work safely and efficiently
Experience
Four-year experience working in an industrial environment as a Boilermaker
Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements
Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically via DocuSign
May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
Must possess enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
Must have full range of motion consistent with age
Must be able to climb and maintain balance on ladders
Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises
Have visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
