Position:

Tank Welder/Fabricator

Night Shift:

Monday – Thursday, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm (OT as needed)

Pay Rate:

$23.00 – $26.00+ per hour (DOE) + Full Benefits Package

Location:

West Fargo, ND

Summary of Responsibilities Responsible for the safe and efficient fabrication of steel products. The Welder I is an entry-level welding position, with all work being completed with close supervision.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualities

Able to perform simple flat and horizontal welds and flat groove welds.

Able to fit and weld subassemblies with tack or spot weld.

Able to perform measurements within specified tolerances.

Exhibit knowledge of material identification, equipment utilization and welding equipment set-up and maintenance.

General knowledge of equipment and operations.

Basic understanding of weld symbols.

Understand and follow oral and written directions.

Ability to read a tape measure (imperial and metric).

Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.

Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.

Ability to be truthful and be seen as credible in the workplace.

Ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal.

The trait of being dependable and trustworthy.

Education and Work Experience

High school diploma or GED preferred.

1 year of welding experience preferred.
