Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Oncology to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals undergoing cancer treatment, including administering medications, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in accordance with oncology treatment plans. Monitor and assess patient health status throughout treatment. Administer chemotherapy and other medications as prescribed (if certified). Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and ongoing care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff. Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in an oncology setting is highly preferred. Preferred Qualifications
Chemotherapy Certification (Chemo Certified) Prior experience in administering chemotherapy. Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) membership is a plus. Certifications
RN License (Required) BLS Certification (Required) Chemotherapy Certification (Preferred)
