Patient Registrar - Multispecialty Practice - Queens Medical Group As a member of our administrative team, you will discover what sets us apart - passion for the individuals and families in our care.
In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients, handling:
Providing areassuring presenceduring the patient experience
Demographic and insuranceinformation collection
Registrationfor procedures and appointments
Schedules and maintains daily appointments
Collects co-payments and fees
Check eligibility in real time
This is a full-time day shift position (8am - 6pm), Monday - Friday. The hours may change to accommodate the needs of the practice. This position is based in our Bayside location and may need to travel to other locations as needed.
Preferred Criteria
Some college coursework
Familiarity with Epic
Experience with insurance authorization
Bilingual Spanish
Minimum of one year experience working in a medical practice
Required Criteria
High School Diploma or GED
Qualified candidates have prior administrative, patient appointments and surgical scheduling experience.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
