You’re dependable, detail-oriented, and excited to get hands-on experience in a regulated processing laboratory. As a Processing Lab Technician, you’ll support the Lab Supervisor with day-to-day lab tasks while learning Curaleaf’s processes, safety standards, and quality expectations. You’re comfortable following instructions, staying organized, and working as part of a team. With training and guidance, you’re eager to learn all areas of the lab and take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant workspace. What You’ll Do
As a Processing Lab Technician, you’ll support daily laboratory operations by helping keep the workspace clean, organized, and compliant while learning hands‑on processing and quality standards. You’ll work closely with the lab team to prepare materials, track production data, and ensure products meet Curaleaf’s safety, quality, and regulatory expectations. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include: Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace and shared production areas in line with GMP, safety standards, and state regulations Prepare materials for processing based on daily production needs and instructions from lab leadership Track and document production data using electronic batch records and internal systems, including MJ Freeway, Salesforce, and Excel trackers Support operational efficiency by following processes, communicating clearly, and working collaboratively with the team Perform in‑process and post‑process quality checks, including visual inspections, to ensure products meet Curaleaf standards Ensure accurate weighing, labeling, documentation, and product tracking while consistently following OSHA, GMP, Curaleaf, and state‑required SOPs What You’ll Bring
Excellent verbal interpersonal communication skills to interact with team members You have basic math proficiency and are comfortable using standard computer systems You’re highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently with clear direction You understand and confidently work with weights and measurements You’re comfortable in a fast‑paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities You have experience safely handling and properly disposing of chemicals and hazardous waste You have a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification Even Better If
You have previous experience in agriculture, manufacturing, or a related production environment You have prior cannabis extraction experience or hands‑on experience in a regulated production environment Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time (8‑10 hours per shift) Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds Ability to use required PPE when required, such as masks, hair nets, beard covers, respirators, boot covers, scrubs, non‑slip shoes, and Tyvek suits as necessary Environmental Conditions
Exposure to environments with high humidity, varying temperatures, and strong odors (such as cannabis) Exposure to soil, water, fertilizer, dust, pollen and plant pathogens Exposure to cleaning solvents, such as high volumes of isopropyl alcohol Exposure to loud noises, including but not limited to air compressors, packaging equipment, and alarms Exposure to CO2 manufacturing procedures at OSHA approved CO2 levels What We Offer
