Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced
HVAC Technician
to join our team! In this role, you will diagnose, repair, maintenance and install heating and air conditioning systems in commercial and residential settings.
You have past field experience in an HVAC service technician role. You're a team player with a
great attitude , who is also comfortable working independently. You love the feeling of a job well done and take pride in leveling up your skill set.
Responsibilities
Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to improve efficiency, such as ductless mini splits, PTACs, fan coil units, package units, dry coolers, exhaust fans, RTUs, etc.
Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting for lack of heating or cooling
Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring
Perform maintenance such as coil cleaning, condensate pump and strainer cleaning, replacing filters, taking amperage readings, checking operating pressures and adding or recovering refrigerant
Install refrigeration piping and line hide, run condensate drainage and mount equipment
Perform leak tests such as pressure test, vacuum test, nitrogen test and bubble test
Recover refrigerant, flush line sets and decommission HVAC equipment
Run control wiring, install or replace thermostats and read wiring diagrams
Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment
Establish customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction
Prepare detailed job notes, take job photos, make material lists and identify parts
Qualifications
10+ years of past experience as an HVAC service technician
Valid Drivers License
EPA Certification
OSHA Certification
Ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift
Experience with operation and maintenance of chillers, heat pumps, air handlers
Do you have the required license/certification required to perform this position?
How many years of previous experience do you have as an HVAC Technician?
Do you hold a valid driver’s license?
