OVERVIEW C-Shift Monday-Friday 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays as needed is required. Weekend shifts may be mandated based on business needs.

The Operator is responsible for operating and troubleshooting a machine that performs one or more packaging functions such as filling, marking, labeling, banding, tying, packing, or wrapping containers, packets and poly-bags by performing the following duties:

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for machine start up and observation of possible malfunctions

Reports malfunctions to supervisor and makes minor adjustments or repairs (i.e. opening valves)

Feeds product to conveyors, hoppers, or other feeding devices; performs all necessary actions to operate machine; unloads finished goods

Performs quality control by inspecting filled containers to ensure product is packed to spec and checking labels/stencils for correct lot number or shipping destination

Completes all necessary paperwork

Replenishes packaging supplies as necessary

Open to cross‑functional training in all areas of operation

Work effectively and ensure that food safety, authenticity, legality, and quality are maintained

Report any risks or any evidence of unsafe or out‑of‑specification product, equipment, packaging or raw materials, to a designated manager to enable the resolution of issues requiring immediate action

All other duties as assigned

WORK EXPERIENCES

Food manufacturing experience preferred

1‑3 years’ experience in manufacturing or similar industry preferred

Prior experience troubleshooting equipment

Prior experience operating a forklift preferred

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS HS Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required

ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES

Must be able to work overtime and weekends based on business needs

Must be able to continuously lift, bend, push, and pull up to 50 pounds

Must possess great attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced industrial environment

Must be able to understand verbal and written English

Results focused and detail oriented

Ability to work well with others

Flexibility to perform other duties when necessary

COMPENSATION $19.00‑$22.99/hour. The pay range for this position will depend on the candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.

Shift Differential: 2nd shift ($1.00); 3rd shift ($1.50)
