Overview
Our client is seeking School Social Workers for Camden county. Starting at $42/hour.
Responsibilities
Counseling: Provide individual, group, or family counseling
Crisis intervention: Respond to emergencies and provide immediate support
Program development: Create, implement, and assess programs for students and districts
Staff development: Provide in-service training and workshops for teachers and staff
Home visits: Provide additional support to students and their families
Consult with teachers and administrators: Work with school staff to support students
Manage staff: Supervise workers providing services to clients or patients
Support students' emotional, mental, and physical wellbeing
Help students and their families cope with issues that may impact their learning
Help students improve their academic achievement and social, emotional, and behavioral competence
Link school, home, and community services
Qualifications
Minimum of a Master's Degree
Minimum of two (2) years experience in Child Study field
NJ State Certifications
Experience treating young adult populations
Ability to complete and pass background checks prior to starting
School based experience with Administrative Codes, Rules and Regulations
Experience with Time Management, Deadlines, Diverse School Settings
Familiar with evaluations, therapy, and case management
Must be willing to obtain register/archive fingerprints under Delta‑T Group codes.
