Are you a hands‑on problem solver with a passion for mechanical work and safety? We’re looking for a
Field Service Technician
to play a key role in valve repair and service operations. In this position, you'll work on a variety of equipment, including safety pressure relief valves, actuators, and automation systems, ensuring top‑quality repairs in the field and shop.
What You'll Do
Field Service Operations:
Lead field repairs and testing, ensuring all work meets ASME Code and NBIC standards. Handle rigging, scaffolding, welding, and more as needed.
Tool & Equipment Management:
Identify and maintain the tools and equipment needed for operations. Suggest improvements for safety and efficiency.
Valve Repair & Maintenance:
Disassemble, clean, and repair valves, documenting the entire process with photos and detailed reports. Perform cause analysis and determine the best repair approach.
Safety & Organization:
Maintain a clean, organized work environment, following 5S principles and safety regulations.
Documentation:
Accurately complete all required reports, from work orders to safety checks, in real time.
What We’re Looking For
Experience:
Mechanical‑related degree or equivalent hands‑on experience with a strong mechanical aptitude.
Travel:
Ability to frequently travel to client sites including up to 50% overnight travel
Flexibility:
Ability to work off‑hours, weekends, and overtime when needed.
Team Player:
Collaborative, positive attitude and strong communication skills.
Tech‑Savvy:
Comfortable with Microsoft 365 and other business applications.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, operate warehouse equipment, and work in physically demanding conditions.
