Role Mission: The registrar maintains student data and records at the campus level to ensure compliance with district and state reportable data audits. The registrar organizes campus operation tasks with key stakeholders and executes processes that integrate with the student information system while handling data related to student enrollment, transfers, and withdrawals.
This position reports to the Manager of Information Systems Management (MISM) and the Director of Compliance. The school principal serves as a dotted‑line manager.
What We Offer Compensation:
Hourly rate ranging from $18.49 (0 years of experience) to $23.11.
Eligible for a performance bonus based on team performance and goal attainment.

Qualifications
Education: HS diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience: Records or student information, data entry, support, systems management/entry required.
Experience with FOCUS preferred.
What You’ll Do – Accountabilities Compliance and State Reportable Data Entry
Builds out the school’s master schedule on Focus and ensures required data entry.
Maintains the state/district student database system with proper coding/master scheduling to monitor and update information for funding cycle budgets.
Ensures accurate and timely entry of coding into the student information system to maximize funding.
Partners and consults with stakeholders to ensure student schedules are correct.
Reviews all state reportable data and conducts necessary clean‑up.
Ensures the school’s master schedule is complete at least two weeks prior to the start of school; ensures student schedules and rosters are finalized and printed by the first day of school.
Ensures compliance reporting and record keeping align with state and company requirements.
Enrollment and Attendance
Paper attendance and student enrollment reconciliation processes solidified two weeks prior to school.
Verifies student registration accurately by deadline.
Supports campus operations team meeting enrollment goals by the first week of school.
Ensures teachers enter daily attendance by the designated time and maintains accurate records in Focus.
Owns the attendance process for Academy and College Prep students and communicates reporting to appropriate staff.
Documents all attendance changes and corrects data by end of day.
Ensures all paper rosters are signed and dated.
Ensures all attendance report submissions are on time.
Student Records
Requests student records from other districts within five days of the student’s enrollment.
Fulfills all records requests from other schools/districts within five days.
Reviews received records to ensure current information, accuracy, and completeness, and confirms all required data is entered into Focus.
Maintains all student records, attendance, grades, and data; reviews to ensure regulatory compliance.
Meets all FOCUS deadlines based on the Florida Registrar operating calendar.
Increases awareness and maintains consistent communication with key stakeholders (FOCUS Data Quality Team, Academic Counselor, ELL Coordinator, 504 Coordinator, and Cafeteria Manager).
Ensures grade verification, re‑registration, end‑of‑year tasks, school and section enrollment audits, and transcripts are completed accurately and timely.
Assists in clerical and administrative functions to support smooth school operation.
Maintains student transcripts and their accuracy.
100% of Beginning of Year Systems and Processes are ready for FDOS (First Day of School)
Works closely with parents and business partners to enable re‑registration.
Ensures campus is operational one week before the first day of school.
Verifies enrollment numbers before the daily enrollment call.
Ensures all attendance, data entry, grade collection, and data‑collecting processes are in place and shared with stakeholders by the first day of school.
Conducts professional development with teachers and staff on attendance and data entry.
