Job Title: Electronics Technician I
Location: Hackettstown, NJ
Type: Contract To Hire
Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 7a-3:30p, M-F
Requirements
Associate’s degree in Electronics or equivalent experience preferred
Coursework in analog and digital circuits
Ability to read and understand schematics and wiring diagrams
Experience troubleshooting AC/DC systems
1–2 years of related experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate
Ability to lift 40–50 lbs
Basic to intermediate computer skills
Mechanically inclined with strong hands‑on ability
Knowledge of MS Office preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented, organized, self‑starter
Responsibilities
Assemble and align electro‑optical systems
Produce sub‑assemblies for integration into final products
Perform final testing and calibration of instruments
Troubleshoot circuit boards using oscilloscopes and VOM meters
Perform system interconnections from schematics or wiring diagrams
Read and interpret detailed technical drawings
Assist with in‑house servicing of instruments
Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area
Perform additional duties as assigned
