Lee Health is hiring for a Compliance Officer for Ancillary Services. This position has a hybrid schedule with two remote days and three in office days. There will be visits to various sites as well. This role will support our pharmacy, laboratory and radiology services so experience is needed. Experience in a lab setting is highly preferred. Clinical/Quality background is a must and CHC (Certified Healthcare Compliance) would be a plus.

Summary Responsible for the execution of compliance operations for Ancillary Services (Pharmacy, Lab, & Radiology). With additional duties dealing with value‑based operations, research, and joint ventures. Compliance Officers can be rotated through these, and other operational areas as needed by Lee Health.
Compliance Officers serve as the primary compliance contact for their assigned support area and are integrated into the operations they support to serve as subject matter experts on compliance requirements impact on specific operations and advise operations on process design to ensure compliance with regulations. Compliance Officers are responsible for the monitoring regulatory changes that could impact their operational scope, development of annual compliance education plans and training coordination, conducting annual compliance risk assessments, designing and monitoring compliance workplans, coordinating compliance committee meetings, providing assistance with policy and procedures reviews and development, and assisting with the development and monitoring of compliance related corrective action plans.
Compliance Officers are supported by the Corporate Compliance operations and coordinate the reporting and action plans for the following compliance requirements with their assigned area: annual conflict of interest attestations and mitigation plans, code of conduct training and attestations, compliance hotline intake and action planning, coordinating and evaluating exit interview results, leading compliance investigations and coordinating investigations with management and peer operations, and review of sanction screening results and remediation with HR and the management team.
Requirements Education:
BS or BA degree from an accredited college required. Masters degree preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of healthcare compliance or healthcare operational experience is required.
Certification:
CHC (Certified in Healthcare Compliance), CHPC (Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance), Certified in Healthcare Research Compliance or certification in healthcare compliance required or must be obtained within the first 6 months of employment.

Strong communication and relationship building are required skills to be successful. This role will require Compliance Officers to attend in person meetings and actively collaborate and build strong working relationships with the areas they support.
