We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Cortland, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and building systems. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues promptly and efficiently. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory. Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely manner. Collaborate with other team members to ensure facility safety and compliance with regulations. Assist with installation and setup of new equipment as needed. Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred. Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects when necessary. Valid driver’s license preferred. This position is based in Cortland, NY, and may require working in various indoor and outdoor environments, including manufacturing or warehouse settings.
