Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry
Overview The DMC Registered Nurse is a member of the Patient Care Services Team at Huron Valley‑Sinai Hospital, located in Oakland County. The role includes leadership, partnership, collaboration, teaching and supervision of nursing care for a group of telemetry patients.
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians and other health‑care providers.
Delegate, assess, provide and evaluate patient care.
Provide and delegate patient care activities to team members.
Monitor patient progress and prepare patients for discharge.
Report directly to senior unit management and participate in shared decision‑making activities.
Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
BSN preferred.
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Michigan.
AHA BLS required.
ACLS required (due to telemetry unit).
Unit and Equipment Unit specializes in telemetry (3W). Specialized equipment: ACLS required.
Location MI – Commerce Township, Huron Valley‑Sinai Hospital.
Schedule 48‑hour shift, nights, 0.6 FTE.
