Maintenance Electrician Bellmawr, New Jersey Job Ref: 40849 NEW OPENING WITH A MANUFACTURING PLANT IN BELLMAWR NJ. THEY ARE LOOKING FOR 2ND SHIFT INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN. LOOKING FOR SOMEONE STRONG WITH ELECTRICAL, 480V, PLCS, VFDS (ABLE TO PUT PARAMETERS), ETC. THIS IS A UNION PLANT AS WELL PAY IS $33.90 HOURLY SHIFT: 3PM-11PM TUES-SAT OR SUN-THURS Responsibilities

Install, maintain, improve and repair equipment, plant services and building installations to set levels effectively in compliance with best practices ensuring production efficiency can be met within a safe well-presented facility. Respond to technical issues affecting production and maintain electrical and mechanical services through application of advanced Total Productive Maintenance tools and techniques. Play a pivotal role in helping guide the Engineering and Maintenance teams through extensive training, mentoring and technical support to continuously improve and upgrade equipment and technician capabilities. Provide high level production breakdown support through root cause problem solving, with minimal downtime to production. Develop long term technical solutions to eliminate recurrence of issue through machine upgrades. Set up and operate production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices. Develop and improve SOPs to support production, sanitation and maintenance staff with detailed instructions and machine setting guidelines for optimal performance. Calibrate or adjust equipment to ensure quality production using tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, protractors, or ring gauges. Document and use center-lining tools to standardize machine operations. Assist in all aspects of manufacturing electrical and mechanical equipment with emphasis on quality, organization and neatness using 5S and TPM techniques. Work in coordination with the Maintenance Manager on major projects leading sub-project activities. Prepare reports and recommendations on machines and repairs required for Maintenance Manager. Train maintenance technicians to estimate time required for a job and communicate potential consequences of delays. Report breakdown root causes, equipment faults and concerns to management with recommended resolutions. Develop preventive maintenance tasks and activities and coordinate with PM coordinator to enter into EAM and train technicians to follow and complete. Plan and prioritize workload to support production and ensure efficient use of working time. Ensure all safety and health procedures are followed and KPI targets are achieved. Undertake special projects as required and actively utilize continuous improvement methodologies to progress the maintenance function. Assist visiting specialists when necessary and ensure contractors are used in accordance with company procedures. Follow up on temporary repairs and generate a work order in the EAM system. Know locations of emergency STOP and START/STOP buttons and follow Lock Out/Tag Out procedures when necessary. Complete Food Safety Incident Reports if incidents occur and Injury Incident Reports if any injuries happen. Participate in audits when requested and ensure compliance with GMP procedures. Support General Plant Safety, Food Safety, Food Defense Initiatives and Good Manufacturing Practices as priority initiatives. Perform all special requests by the Maintenance Manager. Follow and enforce company GMP procedures and document any violations. Qualifications

Must have advanced knowledge of industrial electrical, mechanical and controls maintenance issues. Capable of performing advanced maintenance and repairs, industrial wiring and control circuits using industry-wide best practices. Capable of high-level analysis to troubleshoot and solve all technical problems with production equipment and/or leverage vendor knowledge to solve complex problems. Critical thinking – ability to identify strengths and weaknesses of solutions and apply extensive knowledge of industrial controls and systems. Familiar with latest machinery and repair techniques; attends regular continuous seminars to maintain key skills. Self-disciplined, hard-working and organized; attention to detail with scientific approach and experience. Technical certification in industrial maintenance or associate electrical/electronics degree, preferred. 15+ years of electrical experience required. Advanced troubleshooting skills using root cause analysis and other troubleshooting tools.
