Behavioral Health Therapist

This position has an estimated start date of SPRING 2026 Clinical Social Worker / Therapist (CSWT) Waupaca County Department of Human Services WC Grade 12 EXEMPT $36.00 – $42.35/Hour The Waupaca County Department of Human Services is seeking a Clinical Social Worker/Therapist to provide trauma‑informed mental health counseling services to children, youth, adults, and families. Services provided will align with the candidate’s experience and licensure. This position conducts assessments, establishes diagnoses, and develops and implements individualized treatment plans using evidence‑based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. The CSWT collaborates with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams while working under the supervision of the Behavioral Health Manager of Outpatient Treatment Services. Qualifications

Master’s degree in Social Work or related field Wisconsin licensure in Clinical Social Work, Professional Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy Substance Abuse certification preferred Knowledge of trauma‑informed care, mental health and substance use services, and Wisconsin Chapter 51 Strong documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and reliable transportation for on‑site responsibilities This position may include participation in an on‑call crisis rotation and community consultation activities.
