Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
Join a dynamic team responsible for building large cooling units, where you'll have the opportunity to utilize hand and power tools. You will be involved with metal framing, copper tubing, drilling holes, and piping. This role requires the ability to read and write, as well as follow directions from leads or diagrams. Hands‑on training will be provided to ensure your success.
Responsibilities
Perform basic, standardized, and repetitive assembly operations and labeling.
Manually assemble inserted components per visual aids after verifying specifications.
Inspect parts to ensure assembly correctness.
Utilize manual lifting devices and engage in heavy lifting, often in team settings.
Read and interpret graphs and diagrams.
Essential Skills
Experience with hand tools and blueprint reading.
Mechanical assembly experience, ideally 1+ years in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to follow directions and read visual aids.
Basic mechanical aptitude.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Electrical knowledge is a plus.
Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and work with tubing and schematics.

Work Environment The work takes place in an extremely clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing site with potential expansion to a 3 million sqft campus. The role requires wearing steel‑toe shoes. The work hours are from 6:30 am to 3 pm with opportunities for overtime. The environment is supportive, providing hands‑on training and growth potential.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
