We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Batavia, Illinois facility. This position will be on 2nd shift which is 3:00PM-1:30AM, Monday-Thursday. Starting rate for this position $35.00 and up, depending upon experience.

Job Purpose:

Perform duties as necessary to provide world class equipment reliability in a safe and cost-effective way. Perform preventative maintenance daily to ensure that equipment is safe and up to date.

Key Responsibilities:

Manufacturing Equipment Upkeep

Routine Preventative Maintenance

CMMS

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to learn the functionality of plant equipment

Strong problem-solving skills

Ability to read and understand and follow work instructions, procedures, and technical manuals/drawings

Knowledge in electrical, wiring and troubleshooting

Qualifications/Requirements/Skills:

Completion of high school or GED equivalency.

Five years of maintenance experience is required.

Manufacturing experience within the plastics industry is preferred.

Technical school or apprenticeship in a skilled trade is preferred.

Welding/fabrication knowledge is preferred.

Must be able to lift 55 pounds.

Must have industrial electrical knowledge - (480 volt, low volt, control circuit experience).

Can properly use power and hand-tools.

Ability to read electrical schematics.

Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Must be able to thoroughly troubleshoot machine breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
