Shift: 7AM - 3:30PM

POSITION SUMMARY Based out of our Walker, MI facility, the Stone Fabrication team fabricates quartz, granite, and other hard surface countertops. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Job layout and optimization of materials

Properly measuring and cutting materials (includes the use of state-of-the-art Saw/Waterjet machines, CNC machines and polishers)

Building countertops to customer specifications

Quality inspection and staging of materials for shipment or installation.

Preparing and labeling countertops for shipment

CNC Operation

Locating and running job programs on CNC machine

Processing customer orders in a timely manner ensuring excellent quality of all products.

Maintaining the organization, maintenance, and cleanliness of the work area as assigned by the Production Manager

This position offers a $300 annual clothing allowance for uniform, protective footwear, and PPE.

WHO WE NEED:

Prior CNC Experience

Prior Stone Experience

Hilo operator’s license (will train if needed)

Ability to do physical labor including lifting of up to 100 lbs

Ability to stand for 8-10 hours/day

Ability to bend, twist, and stoop

KEY QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Mechanical Aptitude

Punctual and dependableStrong positive work ethic

Desire to “do things right the first time”

Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and fabricate from digital templates and CAD drawings.

Ability to read a tape measure and understand dimensions.

Knowledge of mathematics including fractions and decimals

Ability to effectively work and communicate with fellow employee owners

Ability to or willingness to learn to operate tools listed above and obtain new skills

Knowledge of structural design integrity
