Desktop Support Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to assist with providing technical support to healthcare personnel, including doctors, nurses, and administrative staff, during the build‑out of new hospital facilities.
Role Overview
Adding user groups
Adding printers
Resetting passwords
Re‑imaging laptops
Providing basic in‑person support
Responsibilities
Unbox and set up monitors, printers, and PCs
Install and configure workstations
Break down pallets and boxes
Assist users with installations and troubleshooting
Perform network logins and map network drives/printers
Swap and install hardware components
Test and configure VoIP phones
Support imaging and deployment of devices
Requirements
Basic technical skills, including computer imaging and customer support
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under supervision
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
Great attention to detail and professionalism
Reliable transportation (daily travel to clinic sites required)
Deployment Scope
Approximately 730 desktops/laptops
722 peripherals (keyboards, monitors, scanners)
600 VoIP phones
395 additional devices (faxes, facilities equipment, biomedical items)
200 PCs for physician areas
Total: ~2,750 items to be deployed over a 6‑week period, plus additional requests

Job Type & Location Contract position based out of Burleson, TX.
Pay & Benefits Pay range: $20.00–$20.00/hr.
