Hours: 35-hour workweek with overtime available depending on workload
Schedule: Hybrid 1 day per week in office
Opportunity: Direct Hire
Pay $75,000 - $95,000 per year (flexible depending on experience)
Location Los Angeles, CA

Job Duties
Assist attorneys with: Drafting and preparing pleadings, Trial preparation and binder creation, Discovery (Westlaw, Relativity, Nexpoint)
Support for parachute trials (last‑minute trial involvement)
Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants
Provide case lists including parties and managing attorneys
Work within a 30‑attorney firm team (14–15 in this department) with consistent workflow and steady growth
Support a defense‑focused practice, including some employment law
Collaborate with 2–3 paralegals and 3–4 legal assistants
Heavy, fast‑paced desk; ideal for mid‑sized or large firm background
Flexible hybrid schedule with strong emphasis on teamwork and communication
Qualifications
5+ years of defense litigation experience
Paralegal Certification preferred
Strong drafting, pleading prep, and trial prep experience
Proactive, highly organized, and able to support a fast‑paced, heavy workload
