Position overview:

The

Maintenance Technician

is responsible for the routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of facility utilities to ensure a safe and efficient working environment; proactive problem-solver capable of handling various manual tasks and technical inspections.

Day-to-day, your work will include:

Preventive Maintenance:

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.

Troubleshooting and Repairs:

Diagnose faults in machinery and equipment, perform repairs or replacements of defective parts, and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly.

Documentation:

Maintain logs and records of maintenance and repair work, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Collaboration:

Work closely with production personnel and engineers to ensure that maintenance activities do not disrupt production schedules.

Training:

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following key requirements for the role:

Education:

A high school diploma or GED, with additional technical training (Technical certification in electricity, plumbing, or HVAC is a plus).

Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, with the ability to diagnose and repair issues effectively.

Experience : 4–6 years of proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a Manufacturing environment.

Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to think critically and solve problems quickly, especially during equipment breakdowns.
