Superba Operator D Shift

Primary Objective:
Safely operate heatset machinery to meet and exceed quality, production, and efficiency goals.
Major Function and Scope:
Threads and repairs breakouts to maintain efficiency and meet production standards
Proactively identifies yarn quality during production runs
Selects and stages tubes for winder operation
Doffs off finished yarn packages as required
Performs other duties as required
Type of Experience and Knowledge:
Previous Yarn or Manufacturing experience is preferred.
Competencies:
Ability to read and write numbers.
Pay attention to details.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations.
Able to communicate effectively with peers, maintenance, and management.
Physical Requirements / Other Pertinent Job Information:
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to sit, stand, reach, bend and twist without restrictions.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Constantly bend, crouch, and stoop throughout the shift.
Work in an environment that is noisy, non-climate-controlled facilities, and high traffic production floor.
