Responsibilities

Prepare machines for a production cycle, performing calibration, cleaning and other activities

Monitor and properly adjust machine settings

Check parts with precision, using appropriate measuring tools

Conduct tests to check the operation of machines on a regular basis

Troubleshoot issues that might occur during the shift

Verify output to detect any machine‑related mistakes or flaws

Create and manage records of approved and defective units or final products

Create and maintain activity logs

Adhere to health and safety regulations

Possess manual dexterity and good coordination

Possess basic reading, writing, and math skills

Possess proven mechanical ability or aptitude

Resolve minor problems, recognize normal and unusual situations

Learn machine operations (including set up and changeover), and/or kitting

Have the ability to work with manual and/or power equipment

Have good oral and written communication skills

Essential Requirements

HS diploma/GED or equivalent preferred

Six months production experience required

Six months mechanical experience or equivalent required

Ability to work with manual and/or power equipment

Good oral and written communication skills

Environment & Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, constantly required to sit, may occasionally squat, turn/twist, or reach, and is constantly using hands to handle objects and computer keyboards. The employee may occasionally walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk, hear, and smell. Employees must frequently lift, carry, push or pull up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures and workspace restrictions. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud. Employees will be required to wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which may include eye, hearing and respiratory protection, protective smock, steel‑toe shoes, gloves, hard hats, or face shields. Compensation and Benefits US ONLY: The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. The compensation range for this role is $20.00 – $20.00 USD per hour. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
