Maintenance Technician – Responsibilities
Carry out assigned duties as requested by the Superintendent in a safe manner according to company policies and procedures, state, and federal laws; e.g., OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing, etc.
Obtain a thorough knowledge of power, water, and gas turnoffs, clean‑out traps, fire extinguishers, and fire hydrants on property.
Assist in all aspects of the property's maintenance, including building and grounds interior and exterior, custodial, preventative, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance.
Repair structural wear and damage to buildings.
Grounds keeping and landscaping.
Clean parking areas, sidewalks, alleyways, hallways, and common areas.
Prepare vacant apartments including painting.
Service appliances, equipment, plumbing, electrical system, etc.
Maintenance Technician – Requirements
1‑2 years of full‑time maintenance experience.
Working knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, painting, and various appliances.
Willingness to perform tasks required and to learn and grow.
Confident, positive attitude, good communication skills, and an ability to interact with a wide range of people.
