Responsibilities
Establishes robust performance metrics
to measure, compare, and evaluate critical factors affecting inventory management
Develops and maintains comprehensive inventories
with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy across all material records
Conducts in-depth analysis
of current inventory systems and procedures, proactively recommending strategic improvements to streamline the supply chain and boost company profitability
Vigilantly monitors inventory levels and usage patterns
through detailed reports, ensuring reordering points remain optimized for business needs
Identifies, prioritizes, and implements complex cross-functional solutions
to enhance inventory control processes across departments
Develops and deploys proactive processes and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
specifically designed to minimize inventory shortages and optimize stock levels
Serves as a critical liaison
between Purchasing and Planning departments, identifying potential shortages or risks before they impact production
Reviews Purchase Price Variances (PPVs)
alongside Purchasing team members and communicates findings effectively to Finance stakeholders
Provides expert guidance and support
to Warehouse personnel during Physical Inventory (P.I.) preparation and coordination activities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Administration
2+ Years’ Experience in Purchasing, Planning or Related departments.
Skills
Understanding of statistical analysis and parts forecasting methodologies.
ERP Systems and MRP Functionality is a must.
