Position Overview The

Maintenance Technician

is responsible for maintaining the general condition of the property’s electrical, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, and painting systems. Additional duties include completing maintenance request work orders on time, participating in preventive maintenance programs for all building equipment, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain the exterior and interior of the property building.

Complete work orders promptly, including on‑call requests.

Resolve maintenance issues to prevent recurrence.

Maintain inventory of materials, supplies, and equipment on site.

Inspect and test machinery and maintenance equipment.

Report unsafe conditions and recommend corrective action.

Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and team members on special projects.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

HVAC certification preferred.

Residential/apartment maintenance experience required.

Proficiency in A/C, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, electronics, drywall installation, and finishing.

Availability for on‑call maintenance shifts.

Physical Requirements

Manual dexterity with normal hand/finger movement and coordination.

Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds at variable distances frequently.

Experience climbing ladders at high levels for maintenance and exterior A/C repairs.

Capacity to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into confined, limited spaces.

Occasional lifting, carrying, positioning, or moving of heavy objects.

Ability to walk for long periods, including climbing flights of stairs in various weather conditions.
