Salary and Compensation The base salary range for this position is $85,000.00‑$100,000.00 per year. The actual salary will be based on your skills and experience.

The Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Docket Clerk to maintain the firm’s litigation calendar for various state and federal court cases and process electronic filings. Hours: Los Angeles 9 AM – 5 PM PT; New York Noon – 8 PM ET (flexible, hybrid or remote).

Responsibilities

Ensure staff calendar entries are accurate.

Document dockets and calendars in the firm’s calendar software.

Utilize various software systems and internal reports to onboard new client matters.

Prepare and issue calendar software reports.

Provide accurate and timely responses to requests and questions, ensuring a high‑quality work product aligned with firm values.

Stay current on firm policies, industry trends, and professional development opportunities.

Demonstrate effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Manage firm resources responsibly.

Comply with firm operations, policies, and procedures.

Perform other tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Knowledge of conventional and electronic filings in state and federal courts.

Familiarity with federal and state judicial rules.

Proficiency with calendar software.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience managing cases through PacerPro, PACER, and other vendors.

Capability to manage multiple projects, remain organized, and prioritize.

Ability to handle sensitive material and maintain confidentiality.

Ability to work in a demanding, fast‑paced environment.

Independent sound judgment.

Knowledge of relevant firm computer software (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new systems.

Flexibility to adjust hours to meet business needs.

Education and Experience

High‑school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum five years of related experience.
